Overview

The Senior Developer Informatica MDM Technology's role is to design, develop and enhance software applications. This can also include translating business requirements from functional specifications into technical requirements for development, application evaluation, application configuration, application and integration testing as well as completing appropriate change management documentation. The Senior Application Developer will also be responsible for delivering support to end users in the organization for specific software applications. This includes troubleshooting applications (providing Level Three support) and software for all internal end users and external customers to resolve trouble issues per documented trouble tickets.

Specialized Skills and Technologies

  • Create, Configure and Manage various resources in Enterprise Data Catalog.

  • Setup and manage scanners for SAP, SAPPHIRE, File System, Informatica PowerCenter, AWS RedShift and Scripts, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau using Catalog Administrator, MetaDex and Custom Scanners

  • Work with Data Management Group and SMEs to configure EDC resources and build lineage end to end.

  • Axon Administration and Linking to enterprise metadata

  • Configure Axon Data Marketplace 

  • Integrating Axon with EDC and IDQ

  • Configure Axon bulk upload. Automate IDQ Rules

  • Design and Develop IDQ Rules and Integrate with Axon. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Determine opportunities to streamline application support activities to achieve more efficient, timely, and cost-effective application support results

  • Provide Level Two 24X7 support for software applications under area of responsibility

  • Develop user documentation and participate in user training when needed

  • Assist in resolving complex data and application issues

  • Assist in the design, delivery, and improvement of software applications when called upon to do so

  • Stay up to date on software applications under area of responsibility to always ensure the highest level of service and support to the organization

  • Obtain any certifications needed to be able to effectively support applications in scope

  • Mentor peers to help them build capabilities

  • Document troubleshooting instructions (continuous improvement)

  • Improve efficiency of team to resolve problems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills

  • Expert understanding of one or more software applications to provide efficient and effective Level Three support of the applications

  • Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong capability to execute tasks with quality

  • Proficient oral communication skills

  • Ability to utilize existing resources to resolve problems.

  • Capability to understand SGWS application portfolio as well as how the different systems contribute to daily business operations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience

  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills

  • At least 2+ years of experience in design and development using Informatica Axon, EDC and IDQ

  • Experience in IT, with a focus on application support

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
