PRESTONWOOD LANDSCAPE SERVICE LLC PRODUCTION MANAGER in DALLAS, Texas

POSITION: PRODUCTION MANAGER

REPORTING TO: DEPARTMENT MANAGER

DIRECT REPORTS: NONE

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Landscape Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation construction projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the company's quality standards. The Landscape Production Manager interfaces with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while providing guidance to Crew Leaders and coordinating with internal departments such as Sales, Estimating, Human Resources, and Accounting. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

WORK TASKS

Project Management

Oversee and manage processes to ensure landscape, hardscape, and irrigation projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to Company quality standards, while meeting client expectations.

Directly oversee the installation of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation projects.

Ensure that all projects are completed according to schedule, within budget, and to the companys quality standards.

Interface with clients to identify their needs and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Attend start-up walkthroughs with clients, Leadsman, and Account Manager to identify needs, locations of controllers, water shut-off devices, gate codes, and emergency contacts.

Communicate company goals concerning landscape maintenance quality and processes.

Monitor and inform the Account Manager of staffing needs.

Operations

Oversee operations activities for portfolio properties:

Conduct monthly inventory of landscape maintenance materials and advise the Account Manager when materials are needed.

Program irrigation and lighting controllers, confirming with the Account Manager.

Evaluate and advise clients regarding recommended treatments for plant diseases, insects, and soil-borne problems.

Treat plant diseases, insects, and soil-borne problems with client approval.

Maintain and update Daily Schedule Sheets and Client Information/Weekly Schedule Sheets.

Manage the upkeep of office grounds and the Principal's Garden to ensure they are routinely maintained and in showable conditions.

Maintain service records for maintenance trucks and equipment and submit them to the Account Manager.

Maintain equipment and vehicle preventive maintenance program.

Maintain a high level of housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, construction yard, and client work sites.

Client Relations

Consult and ensure satisfaction the following activities:

Attend walkthroughs with Leadsman and Account Manager as requested by clients.

Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any issues that arise during the project and maintaining open communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Degree or GED equivalent.

2-3 years experience in Landscape Industry or Production Management experience.

Current Texas Drivers License

Preferred

Bachelors degree in Business/Horticulture.

PMP Certification.

Bilingual Spanish, verbal and written.

Essential Functions

Must stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Exerts up to 30 lbs. of force frequently to lift/move equipment or materials.

Must have full range of mobility in upper and lower body and extremities.

Requires safe operation and driving of a Company vehicle, including successfully passing the Companys safe driver training.

Must wear individual personal protective equipment (PPE).

Must work indoors/outdoors in all-weather/climate conditions.
