Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join The Shoulder Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Our center is known for utilizing cutting-edge technology and a multidisciplinary approach to treat a wide range of shoulder conditions, helping patients recover with minimal pain and optimal outcomes.
About Us
The Shoulder Center at Baylor University Medical Center provides specialized care for shoulder injuries and conditions, including:
Varying weekday schedule.Will start as early as 6:00 am on the surgical first assist days and closes by noon on Friday.
Shoulder Surgery & Arthroscopy
Shoulder Replacement (Total & Reverse)
Rotator Cuff Repair (Anchorless Transosseous Repair)
Sports Injuries & Fractures
Non-Operative Management

Job Summary
As a Physician Assistant, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide direct care, both surgical and non-surgical. Key responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnostics, treatment planning, and assisting in surgeries. You will help ensure the best outcomes for patients within an integrated healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive exams and evaluate patient histories
Develop treatment plans based on diagnostics and test results
Assist in surgeries like arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, and shoulder replacements
Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery, and prevention
Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure the best care

Key Qualifications
Texas Physician Assistant License and NCCPA Certification
BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
Experience in orthopedic or surgical care preferred (but not required)
Strong clinical knowledge of shoulder conditions
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
