Your responsibilities
Post payments based on explanation of benefits (EOBs) from insurance companies, patients and government agencies- Identify correct line item charge to post patient payments
Posts account adjustments quickly while maintaining data integrity Requirements - Strong Microsoft Office skills
Previous experience with an electronic medical record system preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Patient Balance
HIPPA compliance system implementation experience highly valued
CPT-4 experience preferred
Experience with CPT 4
ICD CPT experience desired
Hands-on experience with CPT Codes
Good understanding of Remittance Advice
Adeptness in Patient Billing
Deep understanding of ICDM CPT
Patient Appointments experience highly desired
Expertise in Medical Payment Poster
Prior experience with CPT Hcpcs Codes
General familiarity with explanation of benefits (EOB's)
Background working with Electronic Remittance
Import Export experience highly preferred
Foundational knowledge in ICD-10
Practical knowledge of EOB
Earlier work involving Remittance
Previous experience working with HIPAA compliance patient privacy rules
Comprehensive knowledge of electronic medical records
Strong familiarity with outpatient coding
ICD-9 CPT-4 experience required
Foundational knowledge in patient accounting
Comprehension of HIPAA-Regulated
Minimum of 1 year payment posting or medical billing experience
High School diploma or equivalent required
