Shift: Monday - Thursday 5am-3:30pm

Pay: $16

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Keeping production lines supplied with correct packaging materials (i.e. bottles, tubes, caps, shippers, etc.) by pulling material from staging area with a pallet jack and placing them at the production line.

• Visually examining packaging material to verify proper artwork, comparing it to the artwork verification form and recording it on the form.

• Checking that each pallet is properly stretch wrapped and re-stretch wrapping if necessary.

• Creating labels using the ERP system and printing them from a computer.

• Verifying and applying proper labels by hand to each finished goods pallet.

• Removing finished goods from packaging lines using a pallet jack or forklift and placing them in the inventory staging area.

• Counting and correctly labeling unused packaging materials for restock.

• Documenting the count for each full and partial pallet in the material handler log.

• Returning unused packaging materials to the restock area at the end of each batch.

• Using company-approved personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Complying with company SOPs and policies.

• Assisting in relieving Production Workers and gathering finished product samples when needed or directed by a supervisor.

• Performing additional duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have knowledge of cGMPs (21CFR 111, 117, 210 and 211; International Organization for Standardization (ISO)).

• Have knowledge of safe forklift operation or are able to be trained to drive a forklift safely.

• Have knowledge of the safe operation of a manual pallet jack and electric pallet jack.

• Are able to use a keyboard and computer to print pallet tags from the ERP system.

• Have the ability to follow written English and verbal instructions.

• Are able to read SOPs and machine manuals.

• Have the ability to use simple math to count product.

• Have good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.

• Have attention to detail and accuracy.

• Are able to use a keyboard to create labels.

• Have positive working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
