SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition the individual is responsible for leading pre-hire processing team to develop a consumer grade pre-hire processing experience as it relates to all new employees joining Methodist Health System. The individual collaborates with People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and operational leaders in the development and execution of the Methodist Health System talent acquisition strategies. Partners with system wide stakeholder’s on all opportunities relating to elevating our recruitment process with the goal of developing a world-class candidate experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing and implementing pre-hire processing strategies to meet organizational needs while creating a consumer grade experience for new hires.

  • Engages with all new hires joining Methodist Health System to ensure they feel welcomed and provide all the required information in a streamlined way to adhere to all compliance requirements.

  • Communicates promptly with all talent acquisition partners and leaders should changes arise with start dates or candidate’s anticipated start date.

  • Optimizes the utilization of existing technologies, relationships and branding engagements to obtain the highest return on investment.

  • Manages the training and development of a team to ensure they are well versed with ever-changing regulatory requirements as it relates to all steps in pre-hire processing.

  • Efficiently and effectively analyze and evaluate recruitment performance as it relates to onboarding of candidates by the team.

  • Manages vendor relationships for any onboarding related contracts while continuously assessing and identifying more optimal ways to use those vendors.

  • Partners with leaders across the system to seek their input in onboarding optimization strategies.

  • Manages and reports on candidate experience surveys and shares the information with the Talent Acquisition leadership team to continuously optimize processes.

  • Monitors, audits and reports on key metrics and functions on an on-going basis by working within HR systems

  • Complete and distribute reports as needed by leaders and stakeholders

  • Ensures compliance with all company related policies, legal requirements and equal employment opportunity guidelines through the recruitment process.

  • Ensure the organization’s pre-boarding and onboarding practices and policies are compliant

  • Leads people toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Provides an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts.

  • Serves as a role model by demonstrating commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in talent acquisition onboarding performance.

  • Owns and manages special projects as assigned by Director of Talent Acquisition or other People & Culture leaders.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship or other related fields.

  • Scrum Certification preferred.

Previous Work Experience

  • 5 or more years of Recruitment, Sourcing, or Human Resources experience.

  • 2 years of management and/or leadership experience and increasing responsibility within the talent acquisition function.

  • Outstanding critical thinking, combined with both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, while also deploying reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems in a cost effective manner.

  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) with key internal consumers and to articulate the employee value proposition to prospective candidates.
