Hospitality Representative - Hotel
Fast-paced, high volume Hotel department is looking for top skilled Hospitality Representatives . Is that you?
Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: PRN - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every other weekend, 24 hours a pay period

Here’s What You Need
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
No experience required
At least 5 years of customer service skills preferred
Previous hotel experience is a plus
Good communication and organizational skills work as a member of a team, be courteous
What You Will Do
Guest House Representative
Make reservations ensuring all pertinent information is contained in the reservation notes.
Make reservations at other area hotels as requested, when the hotel is full.
Demonstrate good telephone etiquette and listening skills when interacting with guests.
Check guests in and out.
Take payments.
Assist/escort guests by helping them downstairs if they are checking out with their luggage.
Prepare welcome packets; print welcome letters and make keys for arrivals
Prepare Thank you notes for departures.
Print 0 balance bills for guests at night.
Ensure guests are assigned to requested room type
Assist/escort guests by helping them downstairs for surgery
Address guest issues escalating to manager when necessary
Run daily census report and provide it to EVS supervisors, engineering and hospital operators.
Run daily management, housekeeping and volunteer reports including Kem Tex spreadsheet.
When requested, provide training to new staff on daily management reports, check requests, Advance purchase orders and ordering kitchen or hotel supplies.
Process check requests
Enter purchase orders into Advance
Submit work orders for maintenance or repair work.
Check mail
Order food trays for cosmetic surgery patients.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information
Ensure kitchen area is clean and stocked with condiments.
Order supplies for kitchen, room amenities, LL surgery waiting room
Work collaboratively with other departments and physician practices.
Maintain the appearance of the hotel lobby and desk ensuring the area is uncluttered.
Lock all cabinets and make sure everything is secure before leaving.
Performs other work as requested that is reasonably related to the employee's position, qualifications, and competencies.
Guest Relations
Demonstrate excellent customer service and compassion towards guests and/or patients.
Work in lobby to help surgery patients and/or guests get to the correct destination.
Greet patients and visitors to the hotel and/or hospital.
Assist with obtaining wheelchairs when needed.
Manage deluxe suite cards
Visit patients whose families are staying in the Guest House.
Volunteer reports.
Responsible for LL Surgery waiting room.
Responsible for breakfast bar for Guest House and Sleep Medicine Institute.
Check rooms to ensure guest comfort and safety.
Assist physicians utilizing the physician lounge.
