Centre Technologies Field Services - Deskside Support Technician in Dallas, Texas

    Position Summary

    The primary role for this position would be focused on implementing and supporting various IT Infrastructure technologies as mentioned below with an emphasis on matter resolution, on-boarding of new clients, racking, cabling, installation and removal of hardware, verbose documentation of projects or tasks, and other duties as assigned.

    This role is located in Rockwall, TX and has required travel to and from Greenville, TX on a weekly basis.  Reliable transportation is required as there are specific travel requirements in support of multiple locations.

    Education/Experience/Certifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT-related study or field

  • Direct end user support experience required

  • Install, setup, and troubleshoot PC and hardware-related issues

  • Travel to multiple locations to troubleshoot issues and diagnose problems

  • Excellent time management and documentation skills

  • Experience logging tickets and documentation in a Ticketing System

  • Must collaborate with others and work well independently and as part of a team

  • Must possess basic knowledge and experience with: 

  • Windows OS 10/11 

  • Microsoft Office Suite of products, M365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Microsoft Windows Administration tools (AD Users and Computers, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Sites and Services, etc.) 

  • Experience installing, updating, and troubleshooting applications and related issues

  • Understanding of basic Networking concepts and troubleshooting

  • Understanding of Application, Desktop, and Server Virtualization 

  • Understanding of Desktop Deployment / Imaging 

  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus 

    Desired Experience/Certifications

  • Certifications 

  • CompTIA A+ Certification a plus 

  • MDAA, MCSA 

  • Windows Server 2012/ 2016/ 2019/ 2022/ 2025 

  • Microsoft Office 365 Admin Portal 

  • Understanding of File Permissions (NTFS & Sharing)
