Job Summary OBE and its Glass, Metal and Architectural Hardware divisions are undergoing a multi-year business and technology transformation initiative and is hiring future leaders to drive its digital sales and marketing transformation efforts and initiatives.
We are actively looking for our future B2B ECommerce Merchandising Specialist, where you will be turning our accumulated glazing and construction market insights into action to drive our Glass, Metal, Glazing businesses via our B2B ecommerce platform across North America.
This position is a fast-paced, digital customer persona focused experience delivery role. The path to success is to stay in touch with online needs of various customer segments of professional-shopper and specifier, in Building Materials industry, working across regional, cross-functional business teams, and having passion for the modern glass architecture and building material industry.
The B2B Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible to drive engagement and revenue growth through perfecting shopping experience and executing merchandising strategies both onsite and via external marketing channels for the GGS Building Materials business in North America.
The B2B Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist will be part of the Digital Marketing Team, working in close partnership with the GGS Marketing, Sales, Product Management and Operations Teams, and play an important role in leveraging available data insights to drive shopping experience optimizations and revenue growth through various merchandising efforts. This is hybrid role based in Dallas, TX.
Key Areas of Focus and Job Responsibilities Highlights: * Leverage existing and future capabilities of SAP C/4 Commerce Cloud (Hybris) platform and help continually improve GGSs e-commerce experience. The role will be involved in all aspects of the enablement, delivery, and optimization of the Commerce Cloud implementation, including the adoption of best business practices as well as developing and delivering training and change management. * Support https://www.obe.com/s website(s) merchandising strategy and activities to ensure accurate and optimal product information and exposure across all categories, representative imagery, detailed and effective SEO optimized copy, accurate pricing, and engaging promotional campaigns. * Support all merchandising related activities and data flows, including ERP data feeds and interfaces, product catalog/taxonomy representation, checkout flow. * Monitor use and continuously optimize performance of internal search engine, leveraging available Algolia technology * Work closely with Marketing Product Managers on delivering engaging shopping experience leveraging available Dynamic Yield personalization technology * Coordinate representation of accurate stock levels in collaboration with Operations and Sales teams. * Provide input and proactively review marketing/merchandising calendar to identify opportunities to optimize revenue and customer engagement through product, collections, themes, marketing, and educational presentation. * Utilize the product catalog and performance metrics to optimize Product Catalog taxonomy and effective Product Recommendations. * Increase website conversion and average order size through online merchandise management of best/featured sellers, related/replacement products, seasonal product promotions, and other up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities. * Ensure timely and accurate implementation of website content and promotions Conduct analyses and utilize data to maximize the performance of product categories, creative treatments and guide ongoing improvements to digital merchandising * Review competitor and related industry websites to ensure close alignment with product classification and categorization, promotions, and trends.
Heres What Were Looking For Application Pre-Requisit s: * 4-year degree; advanced degree a plus * 5+ years prior e-commerce experience with proven results to grow businesses on-line. * Affinity with Architecture and Building Materials industry. * Prior SAP Cloud Commerce platform experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.
Special skills required: * Open communication style, with the ability to consistently achieve positive results and collaborate across the team * Strong background in customer acquisition, re-engagement, and retention strategies * Comprehensive knowledge of the online merchandizing strategies, digital marketing KPI's, and brand strategies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems successfully * Experience with Cloud Commerce and Marketing Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Analytics), and Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to translate the business and/brand strategy to engaging online experiences * Ability to effectively resolve competing priorities * Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, complex matrix and changing environment * Flexibility to travel as required reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the job
