Director, Tax
Omnicell is looking for an experienced tax professional to join our team as a Tax Director.
The successful candidate will be a highly capable self-starter and hands-on tax professional.
The Tax Director will play a key role in managing Omnicell’s income tax compliance, income tax provision, reporting, and will work with cross functional teams to ensure that the Company is in compliance with applicable laws.
This position will report to the VP, Head of Tax.
Responsibilities
Manage the federal and state income tax compliance processes including preparation of workpapers, planning and coordination with the 3rd party provider
Manage quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related financial statements disclosures
Lead the global tax forecasting process including tax expense and cash taxes
Monitor tax legislation, court cases and rulings that may impact the company and implement changes in the business processes as necessary
Manage tax audits including responding to audit queries and information requests
Assist with process improvement activities related to the tax systems and compliance process
Review monthly account reconciliations for income tax general ledger accounts
Maintain documentation regarding internal tax processes and controls
Manage small team of people and support their development.
Assist with special projects as needed

Prior remote work experience.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA and/or MST
7+ years of experience in tax accounting and compliance including public accounting and experience in a corporate tax department of publicly traded company
3+ plus years of people management experience required with a record of leading, directing and coaching teams
Strong knowledge of ASC 740, income tax laws, and the ability to research tax issues
Experience working with OTP or other tax software and financial reporting tools is a must
Work Environment:
Remote work environment.
Occasional travel possible.
Flexibility for overtime as needed to manage work and filing deadlines.
