The Director of Sales Planning & Performance Analytics is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the sales organization through data-driven insights. This position oversees the comprehensive analysis and interpretation of sales data, facilitating informed decision-making for target setting, resource allocation, and sales strategy. By providing actionable insights, the Director enables performance improvements, uncovers growth opportunities across corporate, agency, and international sales teams, and ensures alignment with broader strategic priorities.
What you'll do
Oversees the development and implementation of short-term and long-term sales plans to achieve the sales organization’s revenue and growth targets, while achieving company profitability targets
Leads a multi-layered team to analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Monitors strategic performance metrics like revenue share, discounts, and corporate customer and agency partner NPS
Oversees creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to sales teams and leadership, in partnership with Commercial Planning and Performance
Works cross functionally and aligns stakeholders to establish specific targets for sales functions and accounts
Builds relationships with business leaders at all levels within the Sales organization to understand what data and analytics are needed to most effectively reach broader organizational goals
Ensures continuous upskilling and provides development opportunities for talent in the organization, and is always recruiting future leaders for the organization
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or equivalent quantitative experience
7 years of experience in leadership roles
5+ years of experience in customer centric roles
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Strong understanding of airline economics preferred
