Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Assistant Account Executive (AAE), Social Media supports the Account Supervisor (AS) and social account team in day-to-day client business management. Responsibilities include supervising the production and execution of materials with the internal team on behalf of our clients. Support social channel content, monitoring and community management requests. The position encompasses both online and offline projects happening simultaneously. Must be able to build upon tactical ideas and think strategically about a brand or business. Works with all departments in the agency and must respect process and integration. The AAE should have a strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task with accuracy, ability to prioritize workload, as well as show enthusiasm for the work and the Lexus brand.

Team One is a hybrid workplace and this position is required to be in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Day to Day:

• Builds rapport and credibility with clients to comfortably engage in client contact.

• Frequently updates the Account Supervisor on the status of projects/answering client inquiries.

• Continuously provides a clear line of communication between Lexus clients and multiple agency teams throughout the duration of social projects.

• Remains actively involved in day-to-day client initiatives, while building an understanding of the social strategy, the business and Lexus products.

• Manage social branded partner requests from internal and Lexus business partners.

• Manage social ad hoc client and internal request process.

• Responsible for job/change orders and opening and managing production and non-production estimates.

• Support Social Marketing Manager with community management opportunities monitoring, and content and usage management.

• Support Management Supervisor and Account Supervisors with campaign integration, partnership collaboration, content shoots and creative development as needed.

• Consult with appropriate stakeholders and subject-matter experts in the idea development process.

• Initiates and issues internal conference reports (under supervision of Account Supervisor).

• Regularly monitor and share social media trends, competitive activity and collect competitive samples.

• Prepares and produces materials for client presentations and special projects.

• Manages arrangements for client meetings, including set-up, multi-media needs, and catering.

• Review materials and confirm accuracy prior to client presentations and final production.

Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of industry/marketing agency experience in a client-facing/client management and/or project management role. Automotive and/or social experience a plus.

• Ability to support multiple projects and clients concurrently while meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and the Google Workspace.

Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style. Excellent presentation and communication skills are required; attention to detail is necessary; organizational abilities preferred; Excel, PowerPoint skills preferred; positive attitude; drive to learn; dedication; hard-worker. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and have proficient multi-tasking skills. Ability to prioritize workload is required. Ability to present him/herself professionally is crucial.
