Apple is seeking an experienced program manager for the  Services Engineering (ASE) organization. This exciting organization is passionate about providing services across Apple and possibly beyond! This position requires a Data Science mindset, technical curiosity a ‘big thinker’ with a strong business sense in addition to project management skills. This ambitious program manager will be responsible for leading and presenting; strategic direction, technical frameworks, processes, schedule and risks in the development of new data products and services. We are looking for someone who is proactive, deep in the details and can navigate complexity, balance resets and respond quickly. Are you ready?

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program management experience in Data Science Engineering field

  • Familiar with Software Development Life Cycles

  • Proven record in maturing processes, key metrics and execution

  • Experience at program managing at scale, supporting multiple efforts simultaneously

  • Shown ability to meet deadlines and schedule constraints

  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills both in person and in multi-location meetings

Description

Autonomously lead multiple projects and tracks of works of varying scale and complexity with multi-functional and geographically dispersed development teams with only consultative direction from leadership. With strong analytical and interpersonal skills lead and review business requirements across all levels of the organization. Ensure transparency and establish expectations for services requested while developing and executing processes, frameworks, metrics, project plans, defining scope, schedule, deliverables and resources. You will prioritize team activities and drive resolution of issues across all areas of the program while communicating strategic direction, status and issues to teams, leadership and other partners. You will drive focused concise program operations. You will advise and carry out risk assessment and mitigation plans as needed. Execution is critical so you can drive maturity in programs while continuously working to improve the software development lifecycle process within the org. You must have a successful track record of being a great partner to represent the iCloud Data Engineering teams with other internal and external organizations within Apple.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700.00 and $241,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
