Job Description
We are seeking a Technician with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on machinery, adhering to schedules, and using instruction manuals effectively. You will bring excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to safely operate power tools.
Responsibilities
Follow a routine schedule of preventative maintenance on machinery.
Read and follow parts and instruction manuals.
Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with advanced troubleshooting to be developed on the job.
Operate and run any power tool in the shop safely.
Perform fitting and installation tasks such as air lines, water piping, and electrical conduit.
Essential Skills
1-3 years of experience in a related field.
Basic troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls.
Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical and electrical knowledge preferred.
Vocational trade school or work experience in maintenance is advantageous.
Ability to work comfortably at heights.
Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision.

Work Environment
Work involves prolonged standing, repetitive motions, and occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs. Overtime, including weekends, may be required sometimes with little notice. Shifts are Monday through Friday, with the 1st shift from 5:00 AM to 3:00/3:30 PM and the 2nd shift from 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM, which includes a 10% pay differential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Culpeper, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.25 - $30.52/hr.
