Overview:

Global responsibility across all manufacturing locations within the scope of Material Flow and Warehouse. Secure business execution by development of new concepts within SCM in order to improve the process(es). Ensure standarization and sustainability. Global trainer and Senior Expert in the Material Flow and Stock Management field. Driver of Innovation cycles.

Job Description:

• Provide Second level support of the Material Flow and Warehouse (MFW) processes and variants globally, ensuring a fast and transparent communication between Key Users, IT and other SCM modules.

• Design and execution of trainings for MFW processes and cross functional responsibilities such as MAT label, SARA, ETC.

• Take Ownership of intralogistics processes to maintain, design and implement new process and solutions with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Design and execution of global strategic initiatives on Automation impacting MFW Processes

• Evaluation and Change assessment for all Change Requests (template changes\Adaptation) towards MFW processes. • Drive the decision making for change request with management in Locations and Global Teams.

• Ensure Proper integration with other SCM Modules such as Source, Deliver, Make and their IT counterpart (MM, PP, SD)

• Ensure Compliance with Standards from Other Modules such as Controlling and Accounting for MFW processes: Physical Inventory and Goods Issue.

• Design, Definition and Implementation for the MFW processes within the next SAP generation: S4 HANA & EWM to be rolled out in all VT locations

• Lead of the MFW community in Invite/Yammer/Corporate Networks, according to the SCM guidelines.

• Maintain the process repository up to date with all innovation initiatives and new solutions available. (Business Process Descriptions, Training documents, Working instructions, etc)

• Keep a regular communication channel with the to the global community of Key Users to ensure the sharing of best practices Training execution aligned with SCM Academy

• Participate and lead Ideal Material Flow (IMF) Implementation projects supporting the strategy towards the Plant of the Future as Project Lead or Team member.

•The goal of the expert field is to secure state of the Art material flow processes and tracking of material in the plant. This means to have efficient and effective material flow processes in place. New applications like wearables gain potential for process optimization in regards of efficiency and speed. The goal is to design the material flow in the most efficient way by minimizing or reducing touch points. In combination with Digitalization related material flow technologies a semi-automated or automated material flow can be established support, Consulting and Auditing.
