Job Title: General Production - Batch Maker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Production - Batch Maker with a strong background in batching and/or compounding. The ideal candidate will have experience in blending recipes, strong math skills for proper documentation, and chemical handling expertise. You must be able to understand liquid measurements including liters and gallons. You will be responsible for the proper setup and preparation of batches based on work orders, maintaining a clean workstation, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Set up and prepare batches based on work orders
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Ensure proper documentation of batch processes
Handle and blend chemical recipes accurately
Understand and apply liquid measurements (liters, gallons)
Essential Skills
Experience with compounding or blending recipes
Strong math skills for documentation
Chemical handling experience
Ability to understand liquid measurements (liters, gallons)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, decimals)

The work environment is industrial/manufacturing with a strong odor due to the chemical processes involved. The facility manufactures precious metals used for plating companies. Employees should be prepared for a manufacturing setting with exposure to chemicals.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranston, Rhode Island.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
