This role performs work on site, in Indiana 5 days per week. No remote delivery authorized
We are seeking Digital Network Engineer to deliver critical implementation of new EW systems, with development of digital products and full system configuration.
Duties:
Lead reverse engineering efforts of complex EW transmitters
Design, test, and integrate of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based products including digital signal processing (DSP), high speed communications, and system-on-chip (SOC)
Work to find the optimal implementation that meets system requirements and results in a high-quality product or propose alternative solutions when no implementation is readily available
Contribute to design, simulation, verification, integration, and test of complex, high-speed digital products
Produce and archive all necessary documentation for the design to ensure customer support
Required Education:
- Minimum bachelors degree in a STEM related discipline e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering.
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience with the development of digital products and full system configuration
Familiar with the hardware design and development of embedded systems utilizing FPGAs, MPSoCs, or ASICs
Experience with DSP principles and algorithms, as well as design principles of analog circuits, from DC to microwave
Familiar with lab equipment including, but not limited to, spectrum analyzer, function & signal generators, and oscilloscopes
Familiarity with Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) design practices and theory of operation
Experience working in EW & SIGINT
Develop and implement signal processing algorithms RF receivers and/or communication transceivers and/or digital signal processing primarily on FPGA and embedded hardware
Analysis of signal processing and communication system performance using Matlab, Python, or similar environments
Experience with modeling tools (STK, Builder)
Systems engineering experience in complex RF systems
Knowledge/experience related to signal processing
Knowledge/experience analyzing and assessing RF link performance
Experience in digital signal processing
