Finance Manager, Architectural Coatings - JR2416410

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Finance Manager, Architectural Coatings, supports all finance and planning activities for the Menards & Walmart (US and Canada) businesses. You will be a strategic business partner to both commercial, financial and functional areas by supporting and providing financial analysis and advice to support decision-making for short- and long-term objectives and strategies. You will work closely with sales director, supply chain, operations and marketing teams. You will report to the Senior Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate the monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate results. * Responsible for financial reporting including analysis, interpretation and communication of monthly financial results; lead deviation analysis and explanation of key performance drivers; lead monthly forecasting. * Provide proactive analysis of market trends, customer and product/brand performance to support profitable growth and investment. * Collaborate with the commercial, marketing and product team to develop the Long Range Plan (LRP), BSR and proforma financials to support our strategy to expand our share of wallet with these key customers. * Manage the capital spending and request process for any investment. * Enhance and implement business processes in compliance with PPG policy. * Provide ad hoc analysis including customer profitability, margin analysis, contract/deal analysis and cost reductions. * Work collaboratively with cross functional partners, including global business financial services, marketing, credit and supply chain. * Manage a team of two analysts.

Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, preferably in an accounting or finance related field and 5+ years of experience. * Supervisory experience is a plus. * Highly proficient in MS Excel. * Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase Reporting/Hyperion Planning and SAP preferred.
