Customer Invoicing and Incentive Accounting Specialist - JR2414035

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Customer Invoicing and Incentive Accounting Specialist you will support all aspects for customer invoicing and incentive accounting across United States and Canada (USCA) including the planning, organizing, reporting, process improvements, and adhering to controls. You will be a valued partner to the teams within each strategic business unit (SBU)! You will report to the Performance Coatings Incentive Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities * Support the month end closing activities related to customer invoicing and incentive accounting. * Responsible for preparation of internal management reporting and metrics related to customer invoicing and incentive accounting. * Review new and existing contracts for revenue recognition treatment, calculation of amortization on prebates and accruals for rebates. * Help improve account reconciliation process by helping develop consistency and more efficient tools for preparing the supporting documentation. * Responsible for timely and accurate sales transactions and adjustments, manual invoices, credit memos, rebate calculations and proper recording of financial transactions related to sales. * Responsible for adherence to all other job-specific financial policies and procedures to ensure a strong business control environment, where internal financial and operating controls comply with Corporate and business policy. * Help develop, maintain, and communicate policies and procedures related to the invoicing, incentive, and tax process. * Be a liaison for all Internal and External audits.

Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent education with 2 + years accounting experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience with major ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is desirable
