Job Title: Tool Crib Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Tool Crib Supervisor who will be responsible for managing and handling materials in a fast-paced and highly regulated aerospace warehouse environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, documentation, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Receive materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP, including PO number and quantity.

  • Document material receipts and place materials in the appropriate storage locations.

  • Locate materials by pulling and verifying supplies listed on production orders.

  • Deliver production materials and supplies as needed and stage finished products for final distribution.

  • Pack materials for shipping and prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.

  • Document product shipment by recording units shipped, maintaining inventory records, and reporting shortages.

  • Operate forklifts (certification is a plus), pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items.

  • Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.

  • Keep the warehouse operation area clean and orderly.

  • Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.

Essential Skills

  • 2 years of related warehouse experience (shipping and receiving, kitting, packing)

  • ERP experience, with SAP being a significant advantage

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong team player

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted

  • Ability to visually distinguish colors

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP ERP Systems

  • Aviation experience, material handling and inventory management skills

  • HI-Lo operation experience

Work Environment

This position operates in a warehouse environment where you will use various technologies and equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. The work hours are structured, and the workspace is kept clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency. Adherence to safety regulations is paramount.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, GA

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
