Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring CNC Lathes and Mills in a production environment, primarily handling a line of 3-5 machines. The role involves performing quality checks on parts using plug gauges, micrometers, and calipers. Additionally, the candidate will perform daily preventive maintenance such as basic cleaning, changing coolant/oil, and greasing. Minor tool changes, such as changing an insert or bar in a lathe, will also be required.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor a line of CNC Lathes and Mills (3-5 machines).
Perform quality checks on parts using plug gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
Conduct daily preventive maintenance including basic cleaning, changing coolant/oil, and greasing.
Handle minor tool changes such as changing inserts or bars in lathes.
Ensure all tasks are performed with attention to detail and accuracy.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of CNC Operating experience.
1 year of experience with quality tools such as calipers and micrometers.
1 year of experience performing offsets and adjustments.
Strong attention to detail.
Understanding of decimals.
Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work in a temp-controlled environment that can still get hot by the machines.
Must wear steel-toed boots; all other PPE will be provided (ear plugs, safety glasses).

Work Environment
The work environment is temperature-controlled, though it can get hot near the machines. Fans are provided to help manage heat. Steel-toed boots are required, and all other PPE, including ear plugs and safety glasses, will be provided. All shifts will train Monday to Thursday from 7am to 5:30pm for 4-6 weeks. Available shifts include: D Shift (Monday-Thursday Day Shift), E Shift (Monday-Thursday Night Shift), F Shift (Weekend Days), and G Shift (Weekend Nights).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
