Your responsibilities
Give 2nd and 3rd level support
Write down and keep up custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems
Survey and sample application performance for potential bottlenecks, pinpoint possible solutions, and cooperate with developers to perform those fixes
Provide backup, redundancy strategies, and security
Configure, test, maintain, and install operating systems, system management tools, and application software
Head and keep a close watch on all installed systems and infrastructure
Display active participation to warrant the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Communicate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have solid networking knowledge
If you have solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks, you will be strongly preferred for this position
It is preferred for applicants to have experience with automation software

Applicants should have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems
