Experian Senior Product Manager (remote) - Experian Consumer Services in Costa Mesa, California

This position will be supporting the Experian Consumer Services (ECS) - a passionate and innovative team with a mission to provide Financial Power to All™. Our portfolio offers credit education and identity protection solutions to consumers and helps businesses manage the impact of a data breach.

As a Senior Product Manager at ECS, you will help lead the development and execution of generative AI and data-driven products. You will help transform how consumers work with their finances, using AI to provide personalized and intuitive experiences that help consumers save time and money in their daily financial lives. We are looking for a candidate with a unique blend of interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, analytical skills, and product management skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Drive product discovery, design, and execution of generative AI and data-driven products and features across ECS.

  • Define clear product requirements on products such as chatbots, interactive voice response agents, and embedded generative AI capabilities within product experiences.

  • Work closely with AI engineers and infrastructure cloud operations to design, enhance, and launch products.

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to understand regulatory requirements and integrate appropriate control and safeguards into product designs.

  • Develop and implement controls that address privacy, data security, and consumer protection to mitigate risks associated with AI technologies.

  • Maintain transparent and effective communication channels with all team members, including providing regular updates.

  • Build and maintain relationships to foster a collaborative product development environment.

  • Integrate consumer insights into product development to ensure products meet user needs and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Work with analytics teams to instrument analytics, interpret data, and obtain insights for product development and improvements.

  • 5+ years product management experience and or engineering, preferably in fintech or a related field.

  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful data-driven products.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.

  • Excellent communication skills, adept in both writing and presenting.

  • Attention-to-detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • Passion for customers, customer experience and customer advocacy

  • Team player and individual contributor.

  • Knowledge of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing.

Preferred:

  • Practical experience in implementing solutions based on Generative AI or similar AI technologies.

  • Deep understanding of consumer financial behaviors and the fintech ecosystem.
