Job Title: Field Engineer
Job Description
We are currently hiring for field or project engineers to work on a variety of projects including sanitary and storm sewers, wastewater facilities, water distribution facilities, and site work and grading. This role acts as a liaison between the client, the contractor, and the engineer in the office. Responsibilities include:
Acting as the engineering representative onsite whenever the contractor is performing work
Observing and reporting to ensure work is done according to specifications
Completing daily construction reports on a tablet to record work done and material quantities used
Contacting the project engineer and assisting in finding resolutions to onsite issues
Field observation for construction quantification for payment and recordkeeping

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in CORAOPOLIS, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule with 1 day a week at home.
This role involves field work for 6-18 months, with the opportunity to move into a designer role.
The engineer will drive to project sites daily within a 50-mile radius of Pittsburgh, using their own vehicle but with mileage reimbursements.
The engineer may not need to come into the office and can leave straight from home.
