We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various manufacturing tasks, operating laboratory instruments, and supporting the daily management of processes and products. This role requires strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and customer-specific work instructions.
Responsibilities
Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products, including decontamination processes, product transfer, and instrument maintenance and logging.
Operate laboratory instruments to complete tasks by following all work instructions and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Strictly adhere to customer-specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
Support daily management of processes and products, including assessment to drive problem-solving with data and suggestion of countermeasures.
Use automated and manual lab equipment, including but not limited to troubleshooting and maintenance activities. Lab equipment will include liquid handlers and manual pipetting.
Quantify and sample DNA fragments for quality control tests.

Work Environment
This position offers a structured work environment with specific shifts. The available shifts are Friday to Sunday from 7 am to 7:30 pm with a base pay of $23.99 plus a $2.68 shift differential, and Monday to Thursday from 9 pm to 7:30 am with a base pay of $21.59 plus a $2.88 shift differential. Shift differentials will change if the employee changes shifts. The role involves synthesis, HPLC, and formulation processes. Synthesis involves cell division of the oligo and teamwork for passing it to formulations. HPLC involves purifying the oligo and teamwork for passing it to formulations. Formulation involves concentration adjustments to the oligo and packaging, which is more solo work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.59 - $26.67/hr.
