Summary
The Events Marketing Internship provides the opportunity to support the Events Marketing Specialist and the broader Marketing team with event planning and coordination. The Events Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting with CIVCO’s sponsorship & exhibition at key medical conferences; sales training meetings; and clinical education and training workshops.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
Event planning & execution
Support activities related to CIVCO’s presence at key industry events
Gather feedback and share information with internal stakeholders
Coordinate with external vendors on logistics
Execute follow-up tasks post-event, including but not limited to internal communications, lead nurturing, and measuring performance vs. goals
Collaborating with marketing and clinical marketing teams to ensure aligned strategies
Marketing operations
Assist with events marketing processes and resources, including but not limited to compiling and shipping event supplies
Create communications for various events and workshops
Help track expenses and update budgets
Ensure demand generation process is followed for event leads

Education, Experience, and Certifications
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Management, Sales, Communications, or Business Administration.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office. The position requires both strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail while analyzing and drawing conclusions from data.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Internship is based at CIVCO corporate headquarters in Coralville, Iowa, with some work performed at the CIVCO production facility in Kalona, Iowa.
