As member of the Rapid Application Development team, the Systems Administrator is part of a high-performing, innovative, agile team that delivers robust, secure, leading-edge technology and is responsible for working closely with senior functional and technical team members, managing and running more complex, enterprise and strategic technical projects. A systems expert who actively participates in scoping, requirements gathering, configuration and documentation. Solutions leverage products such as: Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, FormAssembly, Mogli, ScheduleOnce, Marketo, SUMO Scheduler, DemandTools, Five9, Knak, Zapier and more.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day technical operations of the assigned platform and related applications including system administration, configuration, record maintenance, data cleansing, record deduplication, create reports/dashboards and perform periodic system health checks to keep the system operating at peak efficiency and deliver on the end users’ needs.

• Monitor system performance and integrations to identify issues and escalate to the proper channels for review and resolution. Available during non-business hours as necessary.

• Research, test, troubleshoot and participate in scheduled technical releases and upgrades.

• Work collaboratively with team members, core functional leaders, subject matter experts, and a variety of end users. Create a sense of belonging and ownership among team members; promotes mutual support and interaction.

• Responsible for engaging our community of users by providing support, training, moderating user generated content, creating community content and escalating any issues to the appropriate internal teams.

• Work as part of an Agile team to deliver high quality solutions.

• Demonstrate Agile behaviors that emphasize collaboration, delivery, reflection, and improvement.

• Facilitates scrum and agile to the larger team by ensuring the methodologies and framework are followed.

• Guides others to understand scrum and agile values, principles and practices to help ensure projects are implemented according to requirements.

• Creates detailed work items that include user stories, acceptance criteria, tasks, assets and test scripts.

• Plan and facilitate requirements sessions with stakeholders to capture business use cases, document requirements, and translate into system specifications.

• Develop detailed system designs which support the system requirements. Conduct technical reviews and walk-through of IT design documentation with development and design team members. Review the technical documentation of other systems to assure quality products.

• Work in conjunction with senior team members to identify resources based upon the magnitude and necessity of the project. Ensure adequate communication is maintained between administrators and stakeholders regarding project status and priorities.

• Mentor student employees/interns by sharing best practices.

• Attends professional meetings, workshops, conferences, and seminars to keep abreast of technological advancements.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Certification and Licensing:

Salesforce System Administrator Certification (Preferred)

Marketing Cloud Administrator (Preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered)

o Includes any combination of the following: CRM, system configuration, business analysis, project management, process improvement

o Higher education business processes (preferred)

• Working in a fast-paced environment while managing simultaneous projects

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

• Agile background (preferred)

• Scrum master experience (preferred)

• Previous experience as a Salesforce system administrator is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral), organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.

• Proficient in creating documentation for complex specifications (business and technical) as well as structuring requirements documents.

• Working knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Agile Accelerator (preferred)
