Aston Carter Product Marketing Lead in Concord, California

Responsibilities:
Product Messaging & Positioning – Build product positioning, messaging and marketing strategies. Develop value propositions and key messaging to be used across every customer touchpoint from the top of the funnel through to Sales, RMs and Business Consulting.
GTM Strategy & Launch – Launch new features and capabilities in a growing portfolio with a cross-functional team of product, sales and stakeholders. Provide an agency approach of innovation and ideation to support stakeholders and the success of marketing activities.
Persona and Buyer Journeys - Develop a deep understanding of prospective and existing Advisors by employing traditional and innovative customer research methods. Segmentation is critical to the success of our marketing programs and initiatives.
Stakeholder Enablement and Support – Work directly with Ensemble Teams, and Business Consulting to provide the right materials and messaging, including fact sheets, customer content, presentations, and product portfolio materials. A holistic approach to content that spans from emails, and social media to website, eWM, events, and other advisor touchpoints.
Voice-of-the-Customer – Build a deep understanding of our Advisor and AssetMark value proposition to the market and users; build scalable feedback loops for your marketing activities and synthesize insights and data across feedback channels to understand effectiveness of marketing materials and to pivot when needed.
Planning & Execution – Drive quarterly planning and expected business impact with your product marketing activities and campaigns; Owning the end to end (from concept through to sunset) lifecycle. Own the budget and also be responsible for vendor management including budgets, deliverables, and contract management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
10+ years of experience leading and developing strategic marketing initiatives across the product lifecycle, including campaigns, launches, messaging, and collateral.
Proven track record of successful product launches and metrics implementation at operational and executive levels.
Knowledge of financial services and/or investment products/cash and tax offerings
Excellent writing skills to distill technical concepts into simple, compelling messages
Strong interpersonal communication skills; can effectively build relationships and influence partners. Approaches challenges with a pragmatic, get-it-done attitude
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Solution-orientated mindset.
Ability to frame ambiguous, and complex issues and generate insights through strategic and quantitative analysis.
Results-oriented with the ability to drive numerous tasks and utilize all available resources with a high sense of urgency and self-motivation.
Ability to effectively work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
