STAND! for Families Free of Violence Bilingual Spanish Mobile DV Liaison in Concord, California

[We have an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Domestic Violence practitioner with considerable previous experience working in the field, to support our program teams and provide services to people impacted by domestic violence. [The incumbent will work part-time in the Hercules/Richmond area, but for the balance of their schedule they will be mobilized across different programs and locations in the County as needed to maintain consistent client services. The successful candidate may be co-located in our partners locations and support their clients experiencing DV, work in our emergency shelter and transitional housing programs with STAND!s clients, or provide crisis intervention and peer counseling services on our crisis and counseling phone line. The Liaison will have experience safety-planning with clients, advocating on their behalf, accompanying them to appointments, and providing referrals to needed resources. [Liaisons deliver a confidential, efficient, and friendly service to our clients in a trauma-informed, empathetic, and non-judgmental manner. The successful candidate for this role must be able to work independently with minimal [supervision, be conf[ident in their ability to make independent decisions in crisis situations and have an agile approach to their work. [Information management is vital to maintaining excellence in our service delivery, and especially important in this role. The successful candidate will maintain up to date, accurate documentation of client contact and activity that occurs while they are working in each program and stay in close contact with their teams and program manager to keep everyone apprised of client developments. [Mileage will be payable for assigned locations that exceed the regular commute, and for additional driving in the course of work duties. [[STAND!s values and culture [STAND!
