Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team for a project focusing on fitting welded steam pipes. This role involves working with up to 4-inch carbon steel pipes at a commercial or industrial construction site.

Responsibilities

  • Fit welded steam pipes using up to 4-inch carbon steel pipes.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

  • Maintain tools and equipment provided on-site.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in pipefitting at commercial or industrial construction sites.

  • Experience with carbon steel pipes.

  • OSHA 10 certification or higher.

  • Possession of basic hand tools such as a cordless drill, wrench, pliers, screwdriver, and hammer.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

  • Ability to wear PPE including a Type 2 hard hat with chin strap, gloves, high visibility clothing, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Pipefitting Journeyman card/license.

  • OSHA 30 certification.

  • Skills in welding and pipe welding.

  • Proficiency in blueprints and plumbing.

  • Experience with copper pipes and propress.

Work Environment

The project is the American Regent expansion with a duration of over 4 months. The work schedule includes a 6 AM start, Monday to Thursday with 10-hour shifts, Friday with an 8-hour shift, and optional Saturday shifts. The environment is structured and safety-focused, with all necessary tools beyond basic hand tools provided on-site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
