Job Title: Travel Pipefitter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at a new build data center in New Albany, OH. This is a full-time position with competitive pay ranging from $28-$35 per hour, plus $100 per day worked for travelers. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with additional hours available on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
Consult blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions to determine layouts and connections.
Weld, cut, bend, thread, solder, and fit pipes.
Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps; cut or bore holes prior to project.
Inspect pipes, testing for pressure and leaks; report and/or resolve problems.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience with pipefitting.
Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
Experience reading blueprints to determine layouts and connections.
Own hand tools.
Must have (or ability to obtain before starting) OSHA 10 or higher.
Scissor Lift Certification & Fall Protection.

Work Environment
The position is located at the QTS Data Center in New Albany, OH. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with additional hours available on Saturdays. The work involves handling 4-12 inch carbon steel pipe and 6 inch stainless steel pipe, bolting pipe, and hanging hangers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
