Role: Sr Integration Developer

Overview:

This position in a high-performance team requires strong integration design and development experience in building customer-facing middleware services for BBW. Most of the work will be involved in designing and developing new services using API Led Architecture Paradigm. There will also be admin work involved in the setting up integration technologies such as Talend, Kafka, and Cleo environment and monitoring/supporting changes that exist in middleware services infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead work focused on the technical aspects of multiple enterprise applications, including Interface development, system configuration, and process & code analysis.

  • Overall Technical Lead on multiple projects or large-scale programs. Leads project segments, including cutover planning, TUT, Integration or other test phases with a technical focus. May serve as overall lead for projects or programs representing integration work.

  • Demonstrate domain expertise in multiple applications or technical field, Knowledgeable in the technology supporting multiple business functions or supporting technologies.

  • Consult on a variety of existing and emerging Integration technologies and associated services and processes

  • Mentor and train junior members in the team with the best development practices and on-call support.

  • Drive identification and resolution of issues demonstrating technical expertise and product knowledge. Research or triage new, uncommon, or complex, problems spanning multiple systems or applications.

  • Apply knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or standard methodologies to recommend process or technology changes for the applications in the group’s portfolio.

  • Research potential changes, analyze options and implement selected items. Audit results for efficiency, improved quality, or speed. Facilitate explorations with the business teams.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of development experience using Talend Data Fabric tools such as Talend Data Integration, Talend ESB, Talend Data Preparation, and Talend Administration (TAC)

  • Good understanding of Integration Patterns and REST based APIs.

  • Extensive knowledge and demonstrated use of Integration patterns integrating Talend with SAP, Salesforce, various databases, etc… .

  • 2 years Java skills exposure

  • 2 years of DevOps CI-CD Pipeline experience using Maven and Bitbucket.

  • Middleware/Talend Administration Experience – Product Installation, Services Deployment and Health Monitoring, Automation of Administration Tasks in the Linux Environment are preferred.

  • Jenkins – Nice to have

  • Kafka – Nice to have

  • Other integration technologies experience such as MuleSoft and TIBCO is nice to have

  • Good communication skills as this role requires to collaborate with various teams across the enterprise and report out progress in terms of key initiatives.

  • Solid experience in documenting the Interfaces developed including Architecture diagrams, design patterns, and used cases.

  • Academic Qualification: 4-year degree in Information Systems plus at least 7 years of work experience or master’s degree with 5 years of work experience.

Salary: 105,000 – 136,500
