Position Overview:
This role is responsible for implementing, tracking, and monitoring SitusAMC’s client risk management, independence and compliance processes and policies. Requires supervision in engaging with management concerns. This position will work with a diverse and multi-regional team of information security, risk, and legal professionals ensuring SitusAMC meets contractual obligations.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing internal and client risk management and compliance processes and projects - Liaising with key stakeholders, tracking the progress and status of projects, and proactively escalating any urgent matters to management
Providing technical advice and guidance to the business on risk management policies, procedures, and technology tools
Preparing reports and presentations to risk management and firm leadership.
Providing ad hoc support to the wider team as needed
Ensures remediations are successfully implemented on time and escalating risks and challenges to leadership in proactive manner
Provides consultation on compliance and controls issues
Other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Mid-level professional with 2-4 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent
Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in a risk management or compliance role, preferably within an audit or professional services firm
Entry level learning with basic competency in following documented SOP and processes
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preparing reports (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong project management and organizational skills
Solid knowledge and understanding of IT Risk Management and Compliance
Ability to resolve complex issues
Excellent communication skills to provide clear advice and guidance to the business on policies, rules, and regulations
Ability to work on tight deadlines and urgent matters as they arise
Enhanced knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding GLBA, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau), FDIC, SEC, as well as state privacy laws such as CCPA and 23 NYCRR 500 would be preferred
Special Requirements:
- The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($52,000 - $92,500). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
