Job Description: Crowe's ESG Advisory group is seeking to add a consultant to assist clients with developing and managing regulatory compliance programs and supply chain due diligence. The consultant will perform high-level administrative tasks to ensure compliance functions are completed and client expectations are met. Key job functions include: Manage Conflict Minerals due diligence processes including supplier Reasonable Country of Origin Inquiries Gather and review supplier and 3rd party declarations Communicate progress updates and findings to clients Assist with due diligence program gap analyses Review new and pending regulations to understand implications on our clients Perform outreach and risk assessments of clients supply chains for human rights and environmental issues Coordinate risk mitigation activities Qualifications Undergraduate with two to three years' experience managing regulatory compliance programs or Graduate degree in environmental compliance, engineering, sustainability, or a related field Knowledge of supply chain sourcing and manufacturing and distribution a plus Ability to read and interpret statutes, regulations, and guidelines Comfortable managing large data sets with exceptional data management and MS Excel skills Ability to think critically and manage multiple client engagement simultaneously Strong oral and written communication skills Understanding of regulations including Conflict Minerals, EU RoHS, EU REACH, California Prop 65, UK Modern Slavery Act, California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, Mandatory Human Rights Due Diligence Obligations, German Supply Chain Act, EU Battery Regulation, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, and others. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
