Patient Care Assistant - PICU H8B Requisition ID 2024-48603 Category Nursing Support Overview Day Shift: (7:00am-7:30pm). 24 hours per week available (0.6 FTE). OR 36 hours per week available (0.9 FTE). OR Night Shift: (7:00pm-7:30am). 24 hours per week available (0.6 FTE). OR 36 hours per week available (0.9 FTE). Every other weekend required and Holiday rotation. Benefits Eligible. Position starts at $19.00 an hour plus shift and weekend differentials. Pay to commensurate with experience. PICU H8B Facts: -H8B is a 24-bed pediatric intensive care unit. -H8B is a multidisciplinary PICU that provides care for infants, children, adolescents and adults who become critically ill. We treat patients with severe illnesses including respiratory, endocrine, neurological and multi-system conditions such as sepsis and shock, as well as illnesses related to genetic/congenital anomalies and extensive surgeries. -H8B also provides care to patients who participate in research studies conducted by the NCH research institute including gene therapy. -We are one team of caregivers working together with the family to provide the best possible care to our patients and families with bedside rounds and reports to include the entire health care team and family. Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN Care Manager but does not interpret data.
