Responsibilities Maintains security around the entrance to each magnet Ensures that no person enters Zone 4 without proper screening for ferrous objects Uses handheld metal detector as warranted to detect ferrous objects Actively participates in the responsibility for MR safety of each patient and other employees. Follows Radiation and general safety policies. Complies with Radiology, JCAHO, OSHA, and other regulatory guidelines and policies. Represents the department?s customer service focus for both internal and external contacts. This shall include appropriate speech, mannerisms, and personal presentation as outlined in the Radiology Department Code of Conduct. Performs other related responsibilities required to maintain section and department safety functions. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: High school graduate. Currently employed in healthcare field / clinical setting preferred or currently enrolled in healthcare related field. Minimum Physical Requirements Standing/Walking/Sitting/Stooping/Kneeling/Reaching Bending - Consistently (67-100%) Lifting/Carrying/Pushing/Pulling up to 50 lbs. - Occasionally (0-37%) Talking/Hearing/Reading/Perform Manual Tasks - Consistently (67-100%) Move or Reposition patients of any weigh/size - Occasionally (0-37%) Must be able to independently lift up to 50 lbs.
