The Role

Responsible for leading the Kaizen Program across the Enterprise Operations organization. Oversee and implement the Kaizen Program playbook, including the maintenance of KPI’s, roadmaps and communication plans.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the Kaizen @ Lumen program across the Enterprise Operations organization.

  • Work closely with the Kaizen vendor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for the delivery of the Kaizen program.

  • Own the Kaizen program playbook, including the creation & maintenance of KPIs, roadmaps and communication plans.

  • Maintain all Kaizen program analytics & reporting, training materials and project specific details.

  • Create dashboards and reports to provide insights into incident trends and performance metrics.

  • Work with HR & Finance partners to certify savings and cost avoidance

  • Support the planning, facilitation, and execution of continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction on top of the projects that result from the Kaizen program

  • Foster a collaborative environment where employees at all levels actively participate in Kaizen projects.

  • Facilitate cross-functional teamwork and knowledge sharing among project teams.

  • Implement a recognition and rewards system to acknowledge the contributions and achievements of employees involved in Kaizen projects.

  • Develop a communication strategy for the Kaizen program, ensuring transparency and engagement.

  • Support the development of a continuous improvement culture within the organization.

  • Encourage the documentation and sharing of best practices and lessons learned from Kaizen projects and facilitate the transfer of knowledge to drive continuous improvement across the organization.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required

  • Post Secondary degree in business administration, process management, operations or something similar

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position

  • Six Sigma Yellow belt is required, green/black belt is an asset

  • 3+ years experience in program management, focused on roadmaps, training and KPIs

  • 3+ years experience in process optimization, operations, or business management

  • A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures.

  • An excellent communicator with top-notch presentation skills.

  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage

  • Outstanding communication, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Travel availability up to 25% to meeting with vendor and customers

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$80510 - $107340 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$84740 - $112980 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$88980 - $118630 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$93210 - $124280 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
