Summary:
Huntington Bank’s Project Coordinator supports the Segment Risk Officer by tracking, prioritizing, and reporting status of projects and other work efforts. In addition, this role will manage complex calendars and lead the preparation of materials for key meetings. This role is an entry level position requiring the individual to have the aptitude to learn and to participate in the overall coordination of Segment Risk functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain complex calendars.
Schedule and facilitate key team and project meetings, including documenting meeting notes and tracking action items.
Drive coordination of meeting materials/packages for key committee or working group meetings.
Work with stakeholders to create and maintain Segment Risk project/work in process inventory with timelines, prioritization, owners, and other key information.
Actively track status and drive timely completion of work and escalating items as appropriate.
Assist stakeholders with the compilation of various status updates and reports.
Maintain awareness of Commercial priorities
Coordinate travel arrangements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 4 additional years of experience may be considered
At least 1 year of experience in project management methodology and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Highly motivated and detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with team members and business partners and establish effective working relationships (teamwork and collaboration).
Strong sense of accountability, focused execution, commitment to quality, and continuous improvement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain project risks and issues, and concepts clearly and concisely.
Ability to learn new concepts quickly and to effectively take direction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of flexibility.
Ability to handle multiple priorities utilizing strong time management skills.
Aptitude in both business and technology, with the ability to draw conclusions based on correlating data.
Experience creating and tracking project schedules in MS Project (or similar tool).
