Job Description
Oracle's Financial Services Global Industry Unit (FSGIU) is a leading provider of solutions in the Accounting, Finance and Data Management areas within the Financial Services Industry. We are currently looking for a senior executive to join this successful team and provide leadership in the development of new and innovative analytical products for Financial Services companies.
The person in this role will take a leadership position in defining strategy and driving innovation by developing and launching new products for Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets in the areas of Accounting, Finance and Data Management. This person will provide the domain and subject matter expertise, drive the on-going cloud based development and delivery of products and continuous delivery of AI capabilities across the portfolio to take this business to new heights. They will not only build these products but assume the role of an evangelist both internally and externally. Ensuring Customer success is a key responsibility of this leadership role.
This leadership position will span all aspects of strategy, product development, operational resilience, field enablement, guiding product marketing as well as ensuring customer success. The person in this role will be responsible to drive the vision, strategy and cloud based product engineering for key areas of Accounting Ledgers, Accounting Standards, Data Management and Statutory Reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
As a Group Vice President of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing cloud based business critical software applications according to current and future design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision improvements to the architecture to improve cloud operations and faster delivery of business value to customers.
For the candidates to be considered the following key requirements need to be met:
A successful Technology leader with at least 15 years of relevant experience in the financial services domain
At least 10-15 years of experience managing large global teams
Extensive exposure to operational and analytic needs of Accounting & Finance teams within large banks
An evidenced thought leader with the ability to understand and guide the team in embracing AI/ML in various disciplines across the team.
At least 5 years of leading cloud (Software as a Service) product delivery and supporting operational requirements of the product, including customer specific requirements
Experience working with large enterprise data management capabilities within a Bank/Insurance company and/or other Tier 1 organisation
Understanding of the financial institutions' accounting close processes, associated accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements
Experience managing and working with large geographically disperse product development teams
Candidate needs to have impeccable communication skills – both verbal and written
Able to articulate the marketing strategy, market positioning, delivery process, the value proposition of the major products while also articulating a clear strategy for succeeding in this space
Enthusiasm and accountability is critical. It's important for you to demonstrate passion for your work and the motivation and commitment to solve hard problems.
A strong track record of cloud based delivery and customer benefit realization is critical
High level of maturity with negotiation skills and proven ability to influence stakeholders at executive levels

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $180,000 to $457,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
