Financial Data Analyst Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Finance Data Analyst for our Columbus, Ohio location. At Kimball Midwest, you are a name and not a number and we pride ourselves on our unique culture. Responsibilities Support and contribute to finance and accounting analytics projects and processes. Perform data import/export/manipulation/analyzation from various databases and sources. Maintain documentation regarding projects, processes, and operations for finance and accounting. Supports company growth objectives through effective data management and communication skills. Performing ad-hoc reporting requests and requirements gathering from the Finance team. Establish data checks/balances for accuracy and completeness. Identify data anomalies and work with Finance/IT to resolve them. Support the Finance department on data clean up and standardization. Qualifications Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Science. Some combination of 2-3 years of experience in the Accounting and Data fields. Experience in the Financial and Accounting field. Experience developing reporting processes. Working knowledge of Power BI and Excel. Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
