Intermountain Health External Programs Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description:

The RSC External Programs Manager plays a key role in supporting the Intermountain Health Revenue Service Center (RSC) by supporting revenue cycle offices managed outside of Intermountain Health. These external revenue cycle offices include third party billers performing services on behalf of Intermountain Health (IMH), as well as non-affiliated healthcare entities within the Community Connect Program. This position works with Third Party Billers to monitor performance against established service level agreements and identify and resolve any operational issues. This position also supports Community Connect client operations by coordinating build and implementation activities for new go-lives and providing on-going operational support to external revenue cycle clients pursuing revenue cycle operational excellence. This role will leverage a highly complex, matrixed organization, and will engage the key stakeholders within Revenue Cycle operations and technical teams to resolve critical issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Establish, implement, and enforce Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and performance expectations with external revenue cycle entities including third party billers (TPB’s) and Joint Venture organizations operating independently from Intermountain Health

· Manage performance of external entities by monitoring metrics, resolving issues contributing to performance level concerns, and reporting results to Intermountain Leadership

· Manage activities with co-providers and billing entities required to support compliance with the No Surprises Act

· As the primary point of contact, subject matter expert, and relationship owner, coordinate all activities, issues, and communications between external entities and Revenue Cycle Intermountain business owners and caregivers as needed

· Support third party billing partners which may include Community Connect client operations by coordinating build and implementation activities for new go-lives and providing on-going operational support to external revenue cycle clients pursuing revenue cycle operational excellence

· Plan and manage activities for RSC caregivers performing community connect implementation and support activities using project management principles and best practices

· As the primary point of contact for Intermountain Revenue Cycle operations, understand Client’s revenue cycle performance and pain points and collaborate with key stakeholders to proactively address identified issues and

can include Community Connect Clients.

· Support revenue cycle operational change management activities in collaboration with the Client which may include Community Connect implementation

Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree required

· Moderate experience and knowledge in Healthcare

· Moderate experience and knowledge in Revenue Cycle Management

Preferred Qualifications

· Certification in Project Management · Expertise in Epic Revenue Cycle Management

  • HFMA - Certified Healthcare Financial Professional or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative

  • PMI - Project Management Professional or Certified Associate in Project Management

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$33.01 - $50.97
