The Role
As a leader within the Transaction Management Office (TMO), provide leadership and accountability for ongoing and potential future Lumen divestiture transactions. Successfully lead transactions by providing vision and problem mitigation across functions within the transaction scope taking Lumen’s ongoing business priorities into account. Ensure overall separation planning and implementation best practices across all projects and provide periodic updates to Lumen senior management on transaction initiatives. Manage the transition and separation lifecycle for approximately one-two years after close of the transaction. Responsible for final transition and separation activities including project resources and budgets for transaction and Transition Services. Manage risk to ensure compliance with all service level agreements under respective commercial and transition services agreements and manage the overall health of the transaction.

The Main Responsibilities
Execution and management of close activities for divestiture activity, including TSAs, separation management, and other duties conducive to a successful close per the Purchase Agreements
In conjunction with VP Transaction Management Office, ensure Lumen meets the requirements outlined in any agreement as scheduled
Develop Transaction Plans in support of Deal Rationale
Build TMO organization structure (from Business, deal specific)
Manage to Transaction parameters
Support Commercial Agreement and TSA development to align to transaction planning objectives
Manage TSA project team activities; analyze complex business problems to provide appropriate solutions; implement solutions that leverage technology to accomplish objectives
Post Close:
Implement commercial agreement governance structure
Manage overall post-close engagement to stated business objectives
Develop wind-down and exit strategy from governance framework
Manage business objectives related to Commercial Agreements and TSA
Partner with IT and business on TSA exist planning, execution, and migration activities
KPI and overall business reporting for engagement

Demonstrated leadership of large, complex business transformation and system implementation programs.
Strong analytic, problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship skills with ability to build effective relations with leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
Business operations experience including financial, budget, procurement, and personnel management a plus

Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$128,310 - $171,080 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$135,060 - $180,080 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$141,820 - $189,090 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$148,570 - $198,090 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
