Iron Mountain is seeking a Deal Desk Coordinator to join our Public Sector Deal Team. The Deal Desk Coordinator is responsible for moving opportunities through the deal lifecycle, from initial intake to booking, ensuring efficient and timely processing. The Coordinator will partner with Sales, Account Management, Pricing, Operations, and Contracts to provide quotes and book orders. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that requires an ability to balance multiple workstreams, remain organized, and push through barriers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position plays a critical role in ensuring Pricing, Product, Operations, and Contract processes are aligned with internal policies, specifically for our government and public agency clients.
Coordinate the end-to-end deal process from proposal to booking, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders for specified opportunities.
Assist with contract and quote generation using tools such as Salesforce, internal online document repository, pricing tools, and other platforms.
Track deal approvals and ensure documentation is complete for audit readiness and processing.
Maintain organized records and support reporting on deal desk metrics and quote successes.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and help identify ways to scale public sector deal support.
KEY SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or related field—or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of experience in sales operations, proposals, government contracting, or a related administrative function.
Superior organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment and managing multiple priorities.
Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, Adobe Professional, and preferred experience with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM/sales tools is a bonus.
Familiarity with Public Sector or government procurement processes is a plus.
Reasonably expected salary range: $73,400.00 - $91,800.00
