Honeywell Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Sr in Columbus, Ohio

As an Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Sr here at Honeywell, Sensing and Solutions, you will influence the planning, designing, and execution of manufacturing engineering processes. You will determine parts and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification, for both existing and new processes/product technologies. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Support New Product Introductions and sustaining production activities and drive producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.

You will report directly to our Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and you'll work out of our Columbus, Ohio location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide test and manufacturing support

  • Perform yield and performance data analysis

  • Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.

  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.

  • Help HSS sites grow their capacity by reducing cycle time, incorporate new capital equipment, and improving yield.

  • Assist development of new product manufacturing strategy.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Aeronautical engineering.

  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
