CW Resources Custodian/Floor Technician (CUSTO003330) in Columbus, Mississippi
This is a Custodian/Floor Technician with a company in the Columbus, MS area.
Responsibilities: Work with a team that includes individuals with disabilities, creating a positive, supportive environment. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and help maintain clean floors and restrooms. Keep trash and recycling bins emptied and the space neat. Clean, wax, and restore hard-surface floors and carpets using floor care equipment. Use and maintain floor care machinery like buffers and scrubbers; perform basic repairs and replace parts when needed. Set up safety barriers and report defective equipment. Assist with inventory checks and help manage supplies and equipment. Greeting customers and ensuring the area is clean and safe for everyone. Lift and move heavy equipment, read and follow chemical labels, and complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Experience with floor care and maintenance (Preferred). Ability to operate and maintain floor care machinery (Preferred). Knowledge of safety procedures and chemical handling (Preferred). Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
