What you need to know about this position:

  • Broad Imaging Services Department that performs an average of 80,000 exams per year and offering CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultra Sound, Nuclear Medicine and all digital X-Ray

  • Our Imaging Services Department supports Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Departments

  • Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.

  • Performs magnetic resonance procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

  • The base hourly rate for this position is $34.36. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

  • The shift for this day, WEO, position will be Saturday and Sunday, 7:00AM - 7:30PM, (24 hours a week, considered part-time) with a holiday rotation.

  • This position is eligible for a Weekend Option (WEO) premium which is paid for hours worked between Fri at 3pm and Mon at 7:30am. Our WEO premium is paid at 44% of your calculated base rate plus applicable shift differentials.

  • With at least 16 hours per week this position is benefit eligible.

    What is required for this position:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in medical imaging or a qualifying Allied Health field to achieve at a minimum MRI registration with either the ARRT or ARMRIT.

  • Must be registry eligible or have a valid and current Registration from the either American Registry of Radiologic Technology or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist. If unregistered the candidate must obtain the MRI registration within 1 year of working in MRI.

  • As a part of continuous quality improvement this position may be required to attend education seminars which are remote to the campus of Columbus Regional Hospital. The educational offerings would be relevant to the scope of the position, the employee education, position competency requirements and or current developments within the industry.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
