DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Assists Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assists in monitor materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; maintains and supports documentation and records. Works under moderate supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Quality Assurance: By comparing physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications, you'll help identify defects and ensure high-quality standards.

2.Testing Expertise: Conducting simple tests on electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality will ensure products meet necessary performance criteria.

3.Accurate Reporting: Recording results and preparing technical reports will provide valuable data for decision-making and continuous improvement.

4.Product Testing: Using a range of measurement equipment, you'll provide thorough product and component testing, ensuring reliability and safety.

5.Customer Support: Assisting customers in understanding and interpreting product specifications and measurement data will enhance customer satisfaction and trust.

6.Measurement Uncertainty Studies: Participating in these studies will contribute to the accuracy and reliability of measurement and calibration results.

7.Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and test equipment will keep operations running smoothly and accurately.

8.Continuous Improvement: Your role will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance product quality and testing processes.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be responsible for non-conforming material

  • Responsible for reporting cost of non confirming material

  • Experience with Oracle and excel is required

  • Responsible for supplier short term action

  • Responsible for supplier RMA's

  • Inventory tracks daily

  • Third party company follow up

  • Supplier meetings follow up

  • Open and track MNC's

  • Supplier Defect investigation
