Recruiting Solutions is hiring a
Welder for a manufacturing warehouse in the Orangeburg, SCarea! Pay is based on experience and knowledge. Typically starts around $20+ per hour, with opportunities for increases and career advancement.
The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Fridays as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and manufacture aluminum parts for later assembly
- Follow blueprints to ensure exact specifications of output
- Produce strong, clean welds
- Test output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds
- Preform fixture/jog change overs as required.
- Repetitive loading / unloading of fixture and/or jig.
- Perform work as assigned by Production Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in aluminum welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals
- Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment
- Blueprint reading and knowledge of common welding symbols
- High School diploma or equivalent
