You would be responsible for responding to customer inquiries. Some inquiries may be non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures so must be able to multi-task and adjust quickly. You will also perform research as needed to resolve inquiries and review and adjudicate claims and/or non-medical appeals. You will also determine whether to return, deny or pay claims following organizational policies and procedures.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
At least 6 months of call center experience.
Claims processing experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Good spelling, punctuation and grammar skills.
Basic business math proficiency.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am and 8pm.
Pay range is usually between $13-$14 per hour.
