We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven Associate Director to lead the development and execution of leadership and talent programs in a high-performance sales-driven organization. This role will oversee a team of Learning & Development professionals and partner closely with sales channel business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify needs, design solutions, and deliver impactful experiences. A key priority includes developing and launching a scalable career path framework, enhancing new leader onboarding, and accelerating top talent development.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of L&D professionals responsible for delivering leadership, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.
Define and implement a comprehensive strategy for leadership development aligned with business goals, sales performance, and talent priorities.
Design a new career pathing framework for key roles, with a focus on clarity, mobility, and engagement across the sales organization.
Establish success metrics and continuously evaluate program impact, effectiveness, and alignment to evolving business needs.
Program Development & Delivery
Own and deliver leadership development and new leader onboarding programs using modern, scalable learning approaches (in-person, virtual, blended).
Build and execute top talent initiatives such as high-potential programs, stretch assignments, and succession planning strategies.
Curate, design, or source engaging learning content that resonates with a fast-paced, performance-oriented culture.
Apply strong project management practices to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with high impact.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, translating organizational needs into targeted development solutions.
Collaborate across HR, Sales, DEI, Talent Acquisition, and other functions to ensure programs are inclusive, aligned, and effective.
Build and maintain strong relationships across the business to drive adoption and engagement with leadership and development initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Business, HR, or related field preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, learning & development, or talent management, preferably in a sales, customer service, or high-growth environment.
5+ years of demonstrated success managing and developing teams.
Certifications in coaching or leadership assessment tools (e.g., Hogan, Korn Ferry, MBTI, DiSC) are a plus.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,300 - $173,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
